Phoenix, AZ, October 21, 2010 -- Pat Flickner, Arizona Democratic State Senate Candidate for District 6, will participate in the Candidate Forum at Boulder Creek High School in Anthem at 6:30 P.M. on Monday, October 25th.
Flickner will discuss the no-nonsense core issues of her campaign: real border security and effective solutions to the State's illegal immigration problems; intelligent and fair taxation; immediate and long-term job creation; meaningful solutions to Arizona's education failures; and fiscal, as well as personal, responsibility in Arizona government.
Although she has no political experience, Flickner is committed to making a difference for Arizona, starting with listening. Her experience with the legislature was that no one was willing to listen to the people who elected them. With the Republican leadership focusing their attention on issues that have no affect on putting us back to work or educating our children, With so much at stake, Pat responded to the question, “If not you, then who?”
Flickner was recently a guest on the Mike Newcomb Show on 1480 KPHX-AM Talk Radio where she had an opportunity to share her vision with the listeners.
Flickner's campaign website, www.pat4az.com, has details of her campaign positions and ideas for a better Arizona. Flickner wants to cut through the bumper-sticker slogan mentality that has bogged down American politics with inaction and what she calls "manufactured patriotism."
Pat and her husband Jeff live in North Phoenix. Pat is an Army Veteran, business leader, mother of four grown children and grandmother of eight and a new addition on the way. She is a graduate of DeVry University and is a member of Crosswinds Presbyterian Church.
