Who is Pat Flickner

picture

I am a mother, a web developer and a member of the District 6 community.  I graduated Magna Cum Laude from DeVry University in Computer Information Systems in 2006.  I am a veteran of the U.S. Army and proudly served as a Unit Clerk in the 30th Engineer Battalion at Ft. Belvoir, VA.

As you can see, I am not a politician.  I am, however, passionate about the people of my district, about what matters to them, and what I can contribute to make a difference.  I have lived in Arizona in the same house for the past 13 years.  I have the pleasure of knowing many of my neighbors and know that, regardless of their party affiliation, they are going through the same hard times as everyone else.  I believe that when you hire someone to represent you, they should be representing you, and not their party, not their friends, and certainly not people from other states that have no clue what is going on here.

When you hire me to represent you, you have my word that your voice matters.  What does that mean?  My father always said that a man is only as good as his word.  As an adult, I earned my father's respect.  Now I know you don't know me from Adam, so here's my invitation to you: come to any events where I will be, look for me, and ask me questions.  I promise, you won't be disappointed.

I am Pat Flickner, and I am your candidate for Arizona State Senate in Legislative District 6.

 Clean Elections

UPDATE:  So far, we've collected 123 Clean Elections contributions! So that's 123 down, 137 to go with 4 days left!  We can do it, but not without you.

I am a participating candidate for Clean Elections, meaning that in order for me to collect public funding, which comes out of fines and penalties levied in court, not your taxpayer dollars, I have to collect 260 $5 contributions by August 19.  If you are a registered voter in Arizona's District 6, your $5 contribution is an investment in your future.  >>Download the Clean Elections Contribution Form here<< (the DARK RED is a link).

pat4az: Awesome debate tonite. Brewer is her own worst enemy & Hess will split the Repub vote. Hess know more about Brewer's job than she does!

pat4az: @arizonapolitics endorsing McCain, are you? :)

pat4az: What if? Let's start looking at possible solutions to the hard problems. This week, Say No To Fear: what if 'illegals' turned themselves in?

pat4az: Calling all illegal aliens. Stop being afraid & turn yourselves in, then turn in your employers.
